Ayurvedic and herbal medicine makers
Classical and proprietary formulations from raw herbs and oils.
Herbs, oils and chemicals in, Ayurvedic medicines and cosmetics out. Batch and expiry, quality holds, recalls, and licence details on every product. Tathven Agentic ERP runs a herbal or cosmetics maker in one system, with an AI assistant that knows every batch.
Classical and proprietary formulations from raw herbs and oils.
Creams, oils, shampoos and colour cosmetics, made in-house or by a contract manufacturer.
Making for several brands, batch by batch.
Licence numbers, shelf life, dosha, skin type and claims such as “vegan” end up in a notes field, and nobody can find them when a buyer asks.
The item screen carries the fields your trade needs:
Item types come ready for cosmetics, Ayurvedic medicines, raw herbs, carrier oils, raw chemicals, packing and bulk.
A raw herb is used before its moisture and purity checks are in. An oil is adulterated, and nobody finds out until the batch fails.
Quality-controlled items arrive on hold and cannot be issued until a person with the clearance right releases them, with a written reason. A second person’s approval can be required. Quality-check templates come ready for herbal raw material receipt, carrier oil receipt and topical preparation release, and you edit them to your own specifications. The certificate of analysis prints from the recorded results.
Ask “which batches are waiting for a quality decision?”
Products have a short shelf life, and the newest batch is picked first.
Goods issue picks first-expiry-first, and expired batches are kept out of it. A weekly mail lists the batches close to expiry. Batch labels print as GS1-128 barcodes with the batch and dates.
A customer reports a reaction. Finding which batch it was, what went into it and who else received it takes days.
Each finished batch is linked to the input batches it used. The recall view traces a batch to every customer and parcel it reached. Defect reports carry the root cause and corrective and preventive actions, and a rejected input batch goes back to the supplier.
The formula is in a notebook, and every batch is issued by memory.
Each product has a bill of materials. Production orders issue the herbs, oils and packing, and receive the finished batch. A job order sends work to a contract manufacturer, with material issued against it and the balance returned.
Herb and oil prices change every season, and the product cost never catches up.
Costing orders work out the cost of a batch from the bill of materials, wastage and overhead. The cost-drift view shows which products have moved away from their standard cost.
Ask “which products has cost drift flagged?”
Some herbs are only available in season. Miss the buying window and production stops for months.
Material planning works out what open orders need against stock and open purchases, and proposes purchases for you to confirm. Reorder suggestions reach the buyer in time.
Ask “what should I reorder this week?” and the assistant prepares the purchase order for you to confirm.
Distributors buy on credit, retailers pay first, and every buyer has a different discount.
Every buyer has its own credit days and limit, and an order is cleared for dispatch only when it is paid or the buyer is within credit terms. Discount schemes are set once and attached to the buyer.
Ayurvedic medicines, hair oils, skin care and colour cosmetics carry different GST rates.
An HSN catalogue for Ayurvedic and cosmetic products sets the rates by product type. GST returns are built from the tax ledger, and purchases are reconciled against GSTR-2B.
Every question needs a report.
Tathven’s AI assistant answers from your own data:
It prepares purchase orders and moves documents through approval, each on a card you confirm. It never releases a batch on its own.
